What the common eye may never notice when looking at a pottery piece is the background color and how it affects the overall aesthetic of the work. I’ve been experimenting with different background colors & I’m having a lot of fun. Specifically with blues, greens & purples. I recently created a set of small dragonfly and trout bowls using a bright Heather background. Take a look here.

Love the new colors. The magpiebowl blue is a stunner, and there is an orange bowl that’s a new color, I think. I love your designs and SO enjoy eating out of your pottery creations. Keep creating….the Universe needs you.
