What the common eye may never notice when looking at a pottery piece is the background color and how it affects the overall aesthetic of the work. I’ve been experimenting with different background colors & I’m having a lot of fun. Specifically with blues, greens & purples. I recently created a set of small dragonfly and trout bowls using a bright Heather background. Take a look here.
